Lord Stewartby, RD, Litt D (Cantab) FBA - President - Eldest Great-grandson of Sir Halley Stewart - Religious Committee  A banker by profession, Lord Stewartby, was Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered PLC.  During the 1980's he held a number of posts in Government, including Economic Secretary to the Treasury and Minister of State for the Armed Forces.
Professor Phil Whitfield, BA, MA, PhD ,FKC - Trust Chairman - All Committees
Professor Whitfield retired as Vice-Principal of King's College London in 2009  and is now an Emeritus Professor having previously been the Head of the School (Faculty) of Health and Life Sciences.  He is a parasitologist with a special interest in the development of new means for the treatment and control of human parasitic diseases in developing countries. 
Mrs Joanna Womack, MA - Honorary Treasurer--Finance Committee
Mrs Joanna Womack qualified as a solicitor in 1972 and worked in the City of London before moving to Cambridge to teach Law at New Hall, University of Cambridge. She then spent nearly 30 years in College and University Administration. She retired as Treasurer of the University of Cambridge in 2003 and as Bursar of Clare Hall, Cambridge in 2010. She was appointed Hon.Treasurer to the Trust in 2008.
Dr Caroline Berry, MBBS, PhD, FRCP - Medical & Religious Committees
Caroline Berry worked for many years as a Consultant Clinical Geneticist based at Guys Hospital, London.  Since retirement she has been honorary secretary of Christians in Science.
The Rev The Lord Griffiths - Chair of Religious Committee
Superintendent Minister of Wesley's Chapel, London and former president of the Methodist Conference.  Lord Griffiths is a writer and broadcaster with extensive interests in world development, university education and alcohol abuse and various aspects of contemporary culture.  He serves on a wide range of boards and committees.
Professor Phyllida Parsloe, BA, AAPSW, PhD - Chair of Social Committee
Phyllida Parsloe has been a probation officer, psychiatric social worker and professor of social work.  Since retirement she has chaired an NHS Hospital Trust and is involved with a number of voluntary agencies working with refugees and asylum seekers, older people and those with dementia. She serves as a Town Councillor and was previously Mayor of Thornbury, Bristol.

Mr Ross Collins is Deputy Chair of Three Valleys Water Plc; Chair of the Sir Malcolm Stewart Bart General Charitable Trust; Chair of the Trustees of the Fan Museum; Chair of the Trustees of Much Hadham Parish Church; Partner of Trinley Estate Management.
Dr Duncan Stewart, MBBS, DObst, RCOG - Vice-Chairman ,Great-grandson of Sir Halley Stewart - Medical Committee
Qualified at Guy's Hospital in 1967 and  is now retired from General Practice in Sussex.  He has been actively involved with charity work in Bosnia .
Ms Caroline Thomas, BA (Hons) - Social Committee
Caroline Thomas is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Stirling and works as an Academic Advisor to the Department for Education. She has a special interest in research relating to children in care and children in need, and is currently working on the specialist  organisations such as Research in Practice and Making Research Count, to promote the implementation of research in the delivery of children's services.
Professor Gordon Wilcock, DM (Oxon), FRCP - Chair of Medical Committee
Gordon Wilcock is a Professor of Clinical Geratology at the University of Oxford and an honorary consultant physician with the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust and the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.  He has been involved in Alzheimer's disease since the late 1970s and was founder Chairman of the Alzheimer's Society.  His research programme has spanned the spectrum from molecular genetics in the laboratory to the patient and carer, and has been involved in the development of some of the existing licensed treatments for Alzheimer's disease. He has established a multidisciplinary dementia research centre alongside clinical services for older people in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and is developing a research programme concentrating on exploring better ways of evaluating new treatments, and making the diagnosis at an earlier stage.
Professor John Wyatt, BSc, MBBS, FRCP, FRCPCH, DCH -   Medical and Religious Committees
John Wyatt is Professor of Ethics & Perinatology & Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician, University College London.  He is also Chairman of the Ethics Study Group of the Christian Medical Fellowship, Board member of London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, Council member of Medical Defence Union.  His areas of expertise are: Research into the causation and prevention of brain damage in newborn babies; Medical care of newborn babies in developing countries; Ethical, legal and philosophical dilemmas in health care at the beginning of life.
Mrs Theresa Bartlett, BSc Hons-- Great, great granddaughter of Sir Halley Stewart--Social Committee
Worked in the City of London in the Insurance Broking Sector. Currently works for the Citizens Advice Bureau as a Generalist Adviser.
Mr Brian Allpress, FCCA--Finance Committee
Mr Brian Allpress qualified as an Accountant in 1972 and worked initially in the Construction industry. He then spent 18 years in the publishing industry where for 15 years he was Company Secretary of EMAP plc. Since 1992, up until his retirement in 2011, he was engaged in Health Service management as Finance Director for a succession of NHS Trusts in Kent, mainly engaged in the care of the mentally ill.
Mrs Amy Holcroft, BA (Hons) Dip. Law (CPE), Dip. Law (LPC)- Religious Committee Amy Holcroft qualified as a solicitor in 1996. She practiced in the fields of corporate and IT law for 10 years before specialising in data protection and security law in 2006. She works for Hewlett-Packard as their European Privacy Counsel. Amy is the daughter of Dr Duncan Stewart and a great, great granddaughter of Sir Halley Stewart.

Professor John Lennard-Jones, MD, DSc (Hon), FRCP, FRCS- Medical and Religious Committee 
Professor Lennard-Jones, now retired, worked as a physician, teacher and researcher at three London hospitals where he specialised in gastroenterology and clinical nutrition.  Latterly, he has been involved in genetic research and has written on ethical aspects of nutritional care.  He is a member of the Christian Medical Fellowship and of Christians in Science.  His interests cover all aspects of the Trust's work.
