100 Year Review

A Retrospective review of the Trust since its inception, to celebrate the Trust’s centenary. Published in late 2024, the report provides an overview of the main achievements of the Trust and past Trust-funded projects for 100 years, including its people, grant-giving, projects, events and wider contributions.

Centenary Celebration Brochure

The Trust’s Centenary Celebration brochure, published in 2024 to celebrate 100 years of grant-making by the Sir Halley Stewart Trust. It includes case studies from various themes the Trust has funded, such as tropical and parasitic diseases; palliative care; and refugees, asylum and migration.

Longer-term outcomes and impacts evaluation

The 2024 report of a project piloting an Outcomes and Impact Review Programme for the Trust, conducted by Helix Research and Evaluation. The aims of the pilot were to design and implement an in-house approach to mapping and reviewing the outcomes and impacts of current and future Trust-funded projects.

This is now an ongoing programme for the Trust. Following the completion of grants, all grantees must complete an outcomes questionnaire and three years later an impact questionnaire.
