Andrew Graystone

At the recent Board meeting, Andrew Graystone retired after nine years as a Trustee.

David Wilkinson, Chair of the Religious subcommittee said: “I want to convey my thanks to Andrew for his service as part of the religious subcommittee and the Trustee Board. Andrew has a rich mix of experience and expertise, with a degree and PhD in Theology and has been a leading media writer, presenter, producer and consultant. He has taught across a range of theological colleges and has been a faithful supporter and advocate for survivors of abuse within the church.  Andrew brought those skills and insights in a spirit of generosity, empathy, fun and imagination to assessing projects and shaping the direction of the Sir Halley Stewart Trust.”

Chair, Theresa Bartlett, also recorded her thanks on behalf of her fellow Trustees who agreed Andrew has been a great source of wisdom, humour, lightness, constant encouragement and has brought a sense of joy to his work for the Trust. The Trust owes him tremendous thanks for all his work, both on the Board and behind the scenes. He will be much missed.
