New Chair for Sir Halley Stewart Trust
Directors welcomed Louisa Elder as Chair following their Board meeting in June and thanked Theresa Bartlett for her chairmanship over the last seven years. Theresa led the Board through many governance and operational changes, providing strong leadership and commitment, and remains as a Director. Louisa, who has acted as Vice-Chair for six years, was thanked by Theresa for her outstanding supporting role and spoke for all Directors in looking forward to Louisa’s term ahead. Both Theresa and Louisa are direct descendants of Sir Halley Stewart.
